The room was immaculate and tastefully refurbished, providing a warm, inviting atmosphere that felt like a home away from home. The large, comfy bed ensured restful nights, making it difficult to return to my usual, less luxurious setup back in Canterbury. Cleanliness was a strong point, with both the room and the communal areas maintained to a high standard. The hosts, Christine and Lien, were welcoming from the start, providing a handy map and tips for local attractions, enhancing our experience without intruding on our independence. The hotel's location is strategically advantageous; It is just a 10-minute walk to the city's centre, allowing exploration of the local charm beyond tourist hotspots. Parking is available, albeit for short durations, which is manageable given the plethora of affordable options in Bruges. This establishment balances luxury and cost-effectiveness remarkably well, making it a wise choice for those visiting this picturesque city.
